Statistics and Analysis of Scientific Papers of Beijing Forestry University

According to the papers included in the database of CAJD(China Academic Journal Network Publishing Database),the published papers of Beijing Forestry University from 1952 to 2008 are statistically analyzed based on the number of papers included,distribution of discipline,publication of different kinds,citation frequency,cooperative organizations etc.By adopting the methods such as document calculation,numerical comparison and grouping statistic analysis,this paper provides the reference basis for evaluating the performance and efficiency of scientific research,the level of discipline development and the future developing trends of Beijing Forestry University.The authors put forward suggestions of laying great emphasis on teachers' papers of SCI,and inspiring their publication of papers in higher level Chiense journals.
