Abstract

firewall is security platform with several technology which is packet filtering technology, proxy service technology, intrusion detection technology .firewall is an important device in modern security network. This article proposed a variety of mainstream firewall architecture, application and the advantages and disadvantages of firewall technology, and has carried on the discussion to the future direction of development.
