Abstract

Firewall technology is a chief instrument to realize network security at present.This article firstly introduces the work theories and the types of firewall,then enumerates the framework of several types of firewall in common use.And some latest technology of firewall is also described in details.At last,it discusses the prospect for the development of firewall technology.
