Abstract

Objective In this study,octopamine derivatives were synthesized and their antioxidation activities were investigated.Methods The antioxidation activities of tyramine,octopamine as well as its derivatives were determined by DPPH method.Results and Conclusion Past researches indicated that tyramine,which is the precursor of octopamine,had comparatively high antioxidation activity.In this study,it is showed that the antioxidation activities of octopamine and its two derivatives were higher than that of tyramine.
