Investigation on the Diversity of Woody plants of Chang'an Campus of Shaanxi Normal University

For the evaluation of campus environment and campus greening ecological civilization construction,the investigation and statistical analysis on the Chang'an campus of Shaanxi Normal University existing woody plants was conducted by using the method of on-the-spot investigation. The survey results show that the woody plant a total of 44 families and 77 genera and 103 species( including cultivars and varieties).According to the analysis of the economic value,it comprises 44 species of ornamental plants,51 kinds of plants,55 species of medicinal plants,38 kinds of industrial timber plants,21 species of edible plants and 16 species of oil plants. According to the analysis of the blossom season,spring blossom of woody plants accounted for 55. 45% of total woody plants in campus,29. 70% in summer,13. 87% in autumn,1. 98% in winter. The results show that the Chang'an campus of the Shaanxi Normal University campus woody plant species diversity is higher than others and the campus ecological environment is good,flowering seasons of campus greening enough. Suggestions include the following aspects that promoting the campus vertical greening work,establishing digital library management of plant resources,enriching cultural connotation of campus greening plants and supplying users demand assessment.
