Analysis on Greening Plants Diversity Status of Henan Mechanical and Electrical Engineering College Campus

The greening status and plants species of Henan mechanical and electrical engineering college campus were investigated. The results showed that Henan mechanical and electrical engineering college campus greening in common species of ornamental plants in a total of 72 species, including 49 species of trees,15 kinds of shrubs, 6 species of herbs, 2 species of vines. Trees of the school distribution was uniform and no obvious dominant species and shrub relative superiority degree larger. After an investigation, it was found that the most prominent problems existing in the school greening plants diversity were not high, unreasonable planting design, plants configuration was not appropriate, low level richness. This paper put forward suggestions on strengthening the construction of campus greening and plant configuration.
