To Investigate the Distribution Characteristics and Etiology of Cerebral Artery Stenosis in Patients With Ischemic Stroke in Youth

Objective To analyzes the distribution characteristics and possible causes of cerebral artery stenosis between youth patients with ischemic stroke.Methods 228 patients were enrolled and they were divided into two groups: there were 110 cases in the youth group,there were 118 cases in the middle age group.Compared incidence of cerebral artery stenosis and distribution in both groups and analyzed the risk factors and etiology in patients with cerebral artery.Results The incidence of cerebral artery stenosis was 72.7% in the youth group,while it was 78.0 % in the middle age group.The risk factors of cerebral artery stenosis in young group were lower than that in middle age group.The incidence of atherosclerosis in young group was 89.1%,which was lower than that in middle age group,and the rate of vascular stenosis in young group was 21.2%,which was higher than that in middle age group 4.4%.Conclusion The incidences of cerebral artery stenosis in youth group are closely related to the middle age group.But the cryptogenic proportion is higher.
