The expression and clinical significance of IGF-IIand PCNA in hysteromyoma

Objective To investigate the expression and clinical significance of insulin-like growth factor-Ⅱ(IGF-Ⅱ)and proliferating cell nuclear antigen(PCNA)in diagnosis of hysteromyoma.Methods The 40 cases of patients with hysteromyoma confirmed by pathology in our hospital from January 2008 to March 2012 were selected as observation group,the uterine fibroids tissue were observed,forty cases of patients with ovarian benign tumor confirmed by pathology during the same period were selected as control group,the uterine smooth muscle tissue were observed.Immunohistoehemical method was employed to detect the expression of IGF-Ⅱ and PCNA in the hysteromyoma and the normal control group.Results The expression of IGF-Ⅱand PCNA in observation group were higher than control group,there was significant difference between the uterine leiomyoma and the normal myometrium(P 0.05).Conclusion The high expression of IGF-Ⅱand PCNA in hysteromyoma indicates that IGF-Ⅱand PCNA is related with the development of hysteromyoma.
