Abstract
With the guidance of the sustainable development idea, the restricting factors and necessity of the sustainable urban traffic in China are analyzed. The concept of the sustainable urban traffic is issued, and then the principles and characters are stated about the urban traffic planning characterized by the sustainable development. The tactics planning for the sustainable urban traffic in China is put forward.
