Abstract

Baicalin and baicalein are major effective flavones in the root of Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi.This article summarized the biological functions of baicalin and baicalein,including the anti-oxidation,anti-inflammatory,anti-microbial activity and immunomodulatory to take reference for its further applications in animal production.
