Advances in Biological Function of Baicalin and Its Application in Livestock Production

Baicalin is a flavonoid, a kind of glucuronide family, iso lated from Scutellaria's dried roots, with a wide range of biological functions. In this paper, the biological functions of baicalin, including antioxidant ability, anti-inflammatory response, antibacterial and immune regulation, and the applications as a kind of feed additive in animal feed are reviewed in order to provide a reference for further research in this field.
