Abstract
On the basis of analyzing the structure of Drawing Exchange File (DXF). We introduced how to get the drawing information from DXF file. The interface program was developed to obtain graphic information and convert then into machining coordinates. Combining CNC machining technology,the post processing module could then generate CNC instruction codes acceptable to machine tools in order to create a CNC program automatically.
