Outline of study on moss flora in Zhejiang Province

This paper introduced the study history of moss flora in Zhejiang Province. The present references showed that 700 moss speices belonging to 52 families and 214 genera were reported from Zhejiang Province. Among 52 families, Dicranaceae, Brachytheciaceae, Hypnaceae, Pottiaceae, Meteoriace-ae, Sematophyllaceae, Bryaceae, Thuidiaceae, Mniaceae and Neckeraceae are the ten main families, which include 123 genera 422 species,of which Brachythecium,Fissidens,Dicranum,Bryum,Campy-lopus,Entodon,Plagiomnium, Philonotis and Thuidium are the ten main gerena. The references re-leated to moss folra in Zhejiang Province was also provided.
