People are the subject of the society.The social development is by people and for people.People's mental harmony is contained in the Marxism's value pursuit of people's all-round and free development.It not only contains tool values since it is the necessary condition and the psychological foundation for the realization of social harmony,but also contains objective value since it is the important content and core value of the social harmony.The realization of people's mental harmony depends on insisting the people-oriented concept,respecting people's subject status,realizing people's fundamental interests,satisfying people's basic needs,paying close attention to people's development potential and promoting people's overall quality.
