Abstract
MaoZedong is the greatest politician and revolutionary leader of Ch in a in modern times as well as a famous calligrapher. His calligraphy,especially t he cursive hand,is quite unique and has a great impact in China. MaoZedong's cur sive hand is bold,natural,and full of passion.The formulation of this style is n ot only due to his personality but also his rich experience. The greatest contri bution he made to calligraphy is that he brokethrough the structure in which the re was no cursive hand since stele subject became prosperous in Qing Dynasty,and led calligraphy to develop more quickly and become more colourful.
