Abstract
There are three different definitions about theory in philosophy of science in the 20th century. They are “generally recognized view”,“subjective view” and “linguistic view”.The rational composition of these views can form a feasible definition about theory: theory is a rational knowledge expressed in a proposition system. In the light of this definition, a realistic judgment frame can be established. And according to this frame, education theory is also a qualified theory.
