Abstract
Industrial gradient is an important standard of measuring the differences of regional economic levels and a fundamental prerequisite of regional industrial transfer.Industrial gradient exists among nations as well as regions.The investigation of the industrial differences and industrial gradient coefficient of Zhengzhou-Kaifeng district which lies in the core of economic area of Henan province proves the existence of a developing gap and the difference of industrial grades between the two cities and the necessity and feasibility of bilateral industrial integration.
