On the Relationship between Government and University in China

Abstract

As two different social organizations,the government and university have begun their match in right and function with the development of higher education since the day university was established.With the coming of the age of popularizing higher education,balancing the relationship between government and university has become the main part of the system reform in higher education management.To grasp the relationship rightly will have great importance in promoting university autonomy and establishing modern university system.
