Abstract
How to increase the reliability and life of piston ring-cylinder liner friction pair is one of key technique problem for increasing the reliability and durability of diesel engine.By using the one-dimensional Reynolds equation based numerical simulation method, the friction loss of 16V280ZJA diesel engine piston ringcylinder liner was studied. The calculation results show that the reduction in the friction loss can be realized by means of optimizing piston ring height, piston ring gap and clearance volume between rings.
