Abstract
Objective To understand the blood lead levels of children aged 2~6 years in shiyan. Methods The blood lead levels of 2 431 children aged 2~6 in shiyan were determined using an epidemiological survey with strict quality control. Results The medians of blood lead levels of 2 431 children were 0.487 μmol/L,and 1 092 children were found with a blood lead level ≥ 0.48 μmol/L.Conclusion Lead pollution caused potential adverse effects on children health,so the measures should be taken to find the contaminated sources and prevent lead poisoning
