Abstract
Taking pyromellitic dianhydride and thionyl chloride as raw key material, 2,5-bis(methoxycarbonyl)terephthaloyl chloride was synthesized. Chlorine determination method was introduced to indicate its purity. The melting point equipment, IR and 1H NMR techniques were used to characterize the product. The results showed that the purity of 2,5-bis(methoxycarbonyl)terephthaloyl chloride was synthesized.
