Research on the Application Architecture of BIM in Building Projects

Abstract

In order to improve the application of Building Information Modeling(BIM) in the construction industry of China,some real-life examples and comparison methods were employed to compare and analyze the current approaches to apply BIM.The most efficient approach,i.e.the developer-driven BIM application approach,was determined.Furthermore,some suggestions were also presented so as to extend and improve the application of this approach in the construction industry of China.Through determining and improving the BIM application approach,BIM technology can contribute to the construction industry of China.
