Discussing the Value Orientation of Vocational Education

In view of some deviations in understanding the value orientation of vocational education, the article holds that with a view to further developing vocational education it is necessary to review it and fit the position of its basic value orientation. What we should do at present are to promote quality-oriented education featuring the people-centred concept, develop formal schooling education compatible with the social progress, attach importance to training of professionals and make even greater efforts to improve the abilities of the educated to deal with problems.
