Abstract
Mao Zedong's idea on opening to the outside world is an important element of Mao Zedong Thought, a study of which has great theoretical and practical significance in better understanding Deng Xiaoping's idea on building socialism with Chinese characteristics and in quickening China's reform and opening to the outside world.
