Abstract
In this paper, the auther made a full investigation of the campus plants in 3 high schools of Suzhou City, analyzed the plants in terms of planting frequency and species richness. The results showed that there were 144 species of plants in the schools, belonging to 65 families,131genera,among which 31 species of arbors accounted for 21.5%,37 species of bushes accounted for 25.7%,73 species of herbs accounted for 50.7%,and 3 species of lianas accounted for 2.1%.92 species of green plants were cultivated, accounting for 63.9% and 51 species of weeds accounted for 35.4% of the total number of plants, among which,Cynodon dactylon and Zoysia matrella were main weeds. The plants are rich in resources on campus as a whole, but the plant structure is relatively simple and the distribution is irrational. It is suggested to increase plant species, improve the effect of landscaping.
