Abstract
This paper analyses the disadvantage of time synchronization in the optical communication network,and illustrated the fundamental principle of IEEE 1588v2 protocol,the synchronization method about IEEE 1588v2 protocol in optical communication network time was proposed.Finally,it showed the application and development direction of precision time synchronization protocol in optical communication network.
