Abstract

The CX110100 machining center was taken as the research object, which was turned out by a machine tool factory. The three dimensional solid model of the machining center was built by Solidworks and the model was simplified.Characteristic of binding faces was recognized and a FEM model of the machining center was established by ANSYS Workbench.Through modal analysis and harmonic response analysis, the first six orders natural frequencies and vibration characteristics of the machining center were obtained.Through analyzing the natural frequencies and vibration modes, the weak link causing vibration of the machining center was pointed out.It provides guidance for the further optimal design of the machining center.
