Abstract

Based on ANSYS Workbench software of finite element analysis, dynamic performance of key parts of CX8075 vertical machining center is analyzed, and then the design for tool base is optimized, which can increase the natural frequencies of key parts and meet the demand of the design of machining center. In primary design for the tool, one FEM is built with finite element theory. With the structural improvement based on FEM analysis, both the part and overall unit with better static and dynamic performance are designed. The application of these new methods not only improves the working capability and machining precision of the new machine tool, but also reduces the development costs and development cycle of the new production.
