The effect analysis of root canal therapy in deciduous molars by two filling-pastes

Abstract

【Objectives】To compare the effect of two filling-pastes in filling deciduous molars so as to provide clinical evidence for choosing a safe and effective filling paste. 【Methods】97 deciduous molars were selected and divided randomly into two groups, the groupⅠincluding 48 deciduous molars were filled by a routin filling-paste and the group Ⅱincluding 49 deciduous molars were filled by the Vitapex, then we analyzed the effect after one year. 【Results】The effective rate in group Ⅱ (91.84%) was higher than that in groupⅠ (77.08%). There were a significant difference between two groups (P0.05).【Conclusions】We recommend Vitapex for filling deciduous molars.
