Abstract

The article makes a simple contrast of the English-Chinese relative address systems. It claims that it is complex to translate such addresses with cultural characteristics.Considering the target language readers'understanding,we have to employ the method of assimilation, but the principle of cultural portraiture calls on as much dissimilation as possible in dealing with the translation for the cultural communication between China and the foreign nations.
