Abstract
Tao Yuanming, a poet in the East Jin Dynasty, was the founder of pastoral poems and also he was the person of the highest creative performance in pastoral poems in Chinese classic literature, that is to say, he was both the first person making attempts in some field and was the person acquiring the highest creative performance, this literary phenomenon is not seen frequently in literary history, so, it requires us to unavoidably have deeper understanding and knowledge of Tao Yuanming's poems with the end to make reasonable interpretation about this literary phenomenon.
