Abstract
The seeds germination and seedling growth under drought stress with PEG of different concentration were studied.The result showed that 1)the seed vigor were improved by low content PEG(5%) and with the increase of PEG content,seed vigor index,germination index,germination energy,germination rate appear downtrend.2)The growth of embryo and radicle were inhibited with PEG concentration increasing,taking on the trend of rising first then dropping.3)With the PEG concentration increasing, relative germination rate,relative germination energy,relative germination index,relative vigor index, relative radicle length,relative plumule length toke the trend of dropping and different provenance showed different lower amplitude.4)Based on subordination function method,the drought resistance order of six Miscanthus sinensis seeds was in according with individual drought resistance index.
