Abstract
The civil judicial reforms in the UK have been 10 years since the promulgation of the new civil procedural rules.The practice of the 10 years has proved that the new civil procedural rules is a success.It is also recognized that the pre-trial procedure has special characteristics.This article introduces some important provisions of the civil pre-trial system in the UK,including pre-action protocols,pre-trial settlement,expert witness,pre-trial document disclosure and costs.It is hoped that this article will provide some useful reference for our judicial reform.
