Abstract

Resveratrol(trans-3,4',5-trihydroxystilbene),a natural polyphenol,is a phytoalexin present in grapes and various medicinal plants.Studies have documented that resveratrol exhibits a wide range of biological and pharmacological activities,such as anticarcinogenesis,cardiovascular protection,and anti-inflammatory effects.
