Abstract
Objective To study the chemical constituents of bamboo root. Methods The chemical constituents were isolated by chromatographic methods and their structures were elucidated by the analysis of spectral data and physiochemical properties. Results 9 compounds were isolated and identified as Friedelin(Ⅰ),Tetracosanoic acid(Ⅱ),Stigmasterin(Ⅲ),Hexadecanoic acid(Ⅳ),Daucosterol(Ⅴ),β-sitosterol.(Ⅵ).Conclusion Compounds Ⅰ,Ⅱ,Ⅲ,Ⅳ were isolated from Bambusoideae for the first time.
