Analysis on the Operational Capability of Francis Turbine

Abstract

The capability of Francis turbine has close relation with its running situation.It is necessary to know the hydraulic characteristics of turbine under different running situations in order to increase its efficiency of energy conversion and safety operation.Based on a large amount of information about the operation Linjiacun Hydropower Station,the operational of situation of Francis turbine is analyzed theoretically using the method of statistical analysis.The result was identical with the real situation,some suggestions were put forward to offer reference for similar hydropower station.
