Abstract

As “the first tower of the right of Yangtze River”, Prince Teng Pavilion has formed three features in appreciation of the beautiful: A.“solid music” incarnated the musical beauty in architecture; B.“level resulting from appearance” created the artistic mood, C.“there being poetry in picturesque scene” merged architecture with literature by taking advantage of antithetical couplet. Studying aesthetic features of Prince Teng Pavilion means researching into those of classical Chinese architecture to some extent.
