A Comparison Between The Romance of JinPingMei and A Dream of the Red Mansion

In this essay,a comparison and study is made in three aspects:from their subject matter,both of the novels describe the same domestic daily life and take women as the characters. But A Dream of the Red Mansion narrates on more typical fuedal family and more typical women's role,From the creation of characters,the Romance of JinPingMei shows the complicated human nature by describing daily trifles,house decration and the anti hero's nature,while A Dream of the Red Mansion,borrowing the same descriptive methods,does more colourful,more chearful and better in all the same details,from the language application ,the Romance of JinPingMei influences A dream of The Red Mansion greatly,the latter absorbs the merits from the former and devalops its own language characteristics to the extent that its lingusitc art is superior to the former's.The conclusion goes;The Romance of JinPingMei has great influences on A Dream of the Red Mansion and A dream of the Red Mansion carries forward and develops The Romance of JinPingMei.
