Treatment of II° Burn by Chuangmian Ling: A Clinical Obser-vation of 80 Cases

Objective: To obserye the curative effect of Chuang-mian Ling (CL) for Ⅱ°. Methods: 160 cases of Ⅱ° buru were al-located to 2 group randomly, treatment group (80 rases) Irealed by exlemal application of CL (composed of Folium Callicarpae For-mosanae, Radix et Rhizoma Rhei, Rhizoma Blelillae. Cortex Phel-lodendri. Rhizoma Curcumae, Radix Ampelopsis and Catechu); con-trol group (80 cases) by extemal application of bum ointment. The reduction of exudation from tyound surface, healing of wound surfare and the prevention of infection were compared between 2 groups. Results: The reduction of exudation from wound surface and time of healing in treatment group are superior than that of control group ( P 0. 01); while the anti - infective effect is similar in 2 group. Conclusion: CL for Ⅱ° bum can reduce the exudation and infection of wound surface, and promote local microcirculation and the healing of vvound surface.
