Analysis of Mobile Phone Positioning in Railway Traffic

Abstract

the authors introduce the basic principle, application and developing trend of mobile phone positioning, and analyze the errors occurring in positioning. In combination with railway practices, some positioning methods are proposed and compared among one another. A model is built on the basis of the moving law of the train to predict the train location and analysis is made as regards how to reduce positioning errors.
