Abstract

Objective To investigate the predictive value of serum alanine transaminase level of the severity in patients with coronary heart disease. Methods The levels of ALT in 50cases of patients with unstable angina pectoris(group A),52cases of patients with Stable angina pectoris(group B)and 53cases of healthy subject(group C)were measured respectively, and the relationship between severity of coronary artery disease and serum alanine transaminase level was analyzed. Results The differences of serum alanine transaminase level in three groups were statistically significant(P0.05).The serum alanine transaminase level in group A and group B were all significantly higher than those of group C and the coronary narrow degree integral(Gensini score),serum alanine transaminase level in group A were all significantly higher than those of group B(P0.05).After Person correlation analysis, the serum alanine transaminase level of patients with CHD were positively related with Gensini score(P0.05).Multiple regression analysis showed that, the Gensini score of patients with CHD was effected significantly by the serum alanine transaminase level(P 0.05).Conclusion The severity of atherosclerosis in patients with CHD is related with the serum alanine transaminase level, the more serious in atherosclerosis, the higher in the serum alanine transaminase level, and it has a high predictive value in the severity in patients with coronary heart disease.
