Abstract
Extracurricular physical activities are not only important elements of school sports education but also one of the important ways to carry out the aim and the task of school physical education.And they have important significance to cultivate the habit of lifelong exercise.By using the methods of questionnaires,documentary data,mathematical statistics,it was researched that the status quo of extracurricular physical activities of college students of five universities in Nanyang.According to the analysis of the main questions the investigation reflected,the paper gives some related advices in order to arouse the students' sport interesting and promote the college students to participate in the life-long training.
