Study of comprehensive intervention in patients with neurocysticercosis

Objective To detect the treatment effect of comprehensive intervention in patients with neurocysticercosis. Methods Different anti cysticercus treatment methods, different anti cysticercus treatment time, mannitol dexamethasonum and neuro surgery were used in patients with neurocysticercosis. Results After follow up one year of finishing anti cysticercosis, Praziquantel, Albendazde combined methods could improve the effective rate obviously compared to single drug methods(P0.05);early anti cysticercus treatment, appropriate and systemic anti cysticercus treatment, initiatively applying mannitol, dexamethasonum and mastering the indications of neuro surgery could improve the effective rate obviously(P0.05). Conclusion The comprehensive intervention of four methods could improve the effective rate(P0.05) and the four measures is effective against the sequelae of neurocysticercosis.
