Quality research on the literature of randomized controlled trials of acupuncture and moxibustion in treating depression

Objective To assess and analyze the randomized controlled trials on acupuncture and moxibustion treating depression.Methods The relative clinical research literatures published from in January 1989 to 2010 in December were collected.A systematic assessment of two hundred and eighty three papers which conformed with the enrolled criteria was made by Review Manage4.2.7.Results In the recent years,the study of acupuncture treatment of depression had been paid more and more attention,but the quality was generally not high.Conclusions To make the clinical report on acupuncture for depression according to a criterion is significant to efficacy of the treatment.
