Abstract
Butyl acetate was synthesized using ammonium ferric sulfate dodecahydrate as catalyst, and the optimum condition for the esterification was obtained by simplex search method. This synthesis method has the advantages of high catalytic activity, mild conditions, simple operation, lower corrosion and no pollution.
