Clinical Study on the Effect of Fenbu Needling Therapy for Acute Shoulder Periarthritis

Objective:To observe the therapeutic effect and regulations of fenbu needling therapy on shoulder periarthritis.Method:Sixty cases of shoulder periarthritis were randomly divided into treatment group(thirty cases) and control group(thirty cases).Treatment group was treated with fenbu needling therapy,Ashi point,Jingjiaji4～6,Hegu(LI4) and Zusanli(ST36) were selected,while control group with general needling therapy,Jianyu(LI15),Jianqian,Jianzhen(SI9),Ashi point,Yanglingquan(GB34) and Zhongping point were selected.Electroacupuncture was adopted,thirty minutes a time,two or three times a week.The course of treatment was two weeks.The therapeutic effects of these two group were compared.Result:After one day of treatment,the effective rate was 86.67% in treatment group,and 63.33% in control group.The effective rate in treatment group has satistical significance compared with that in control group(P0.05).After two weeks of treatment,the effective rate was 96.67% in treatment group,and 93.33% in control group.The effective rate in treatment group has no satistical significance compared with that in control group(P0.05).Furthermore used by NRS and VRS,NRS and VRS of treatment group after one day have satistical significance compared with these of control group(P0.01 or P0.05),NRS and VRS of treatment group after two weeks have no statistical significance compared with these of control group(P0.05).Conclusion:Fenbu needling therapy is effective in treating shoulder periarthritis,and is faster than general needling therapy in obtaining the therapeutic effect.It is worthy to study and apply in future.
