Literature review of fishery insurance in China

Abstract
Fishery insurance is very important in safeguarding the development of fishery industry, but the practice of fishery insurance is not very well in China.Besides the characteristics of the fishery industry and the particularity of the fishery insurance,the reasons for that also consist in the lack of the government's support and lack of the participation of the insurance corporation.This paper reviews the researches of the fishery insurance in China and recommends the further studies:based on the support of the policy and the subsidy from the government,we should develop a perfect cooperation among the government,fishery mutual insurance association,commercial insurance association and the fishermen, it will help the fishery insurance enter into a healthy and persistent stage.
