Abstract

[Objective]To explore the influence of Biejiajianwan on serum TNF-αand IL-6levels in patients with early hepatocirrhosis of chronic hepatitis B,and to investigate the possible mechanism.[Methods]Seventy-six patients with early hepatocirrhosis of chronic hepatitis B were selected and randomly divided into treatment group(n=38)and control group(n=38).The patients of control group were treated with entecavir tablets, while the patients of treatment group were treated with entecavir tablets and Biejiajianwan for 12weeks.The levels of serum hepatic function, indexes of liver fibrosis,TNF-αand IL-6were observed before and after treatment.[Results]After treatment, the levels of serum hepatic function, indexes of liver fibrosis,TNF-αand IL-6in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group respectively(P0.01).[Conclusion]There was significant effect of Biejiajianwan in patients with early hepatocirrhosis of chronic hepatitis B,and its mechanism may be reducing the level of TNF-αand IL-6and inhibiting inflammatory reaction.
