The Influence of Tibetan Buddhism on Chinese on Chinese Buddhism in Yuan Dynasty

This article explores the relationship between Tibetan Buddhism and Chinese Buddhism in Yuan dynasty.It illustrates that the communication and connection between them had come into being from the very beginning of Tang dynasty.In the early of Tang dynasty,the Suga-tr period,Chinese Buddhism exercised a great influence on Tibetan Buddhism.While from the Song and Yuan dynasty,the Pyi-tr,especially in the Yuan dynasty,Tibetan Buddhism began to be spread in the inland and once became the main trend of Tibetan Buddhism.With the close connection between Tibetan local rulers and Chinese central royal court,Tibetan Buddhism permeated through many aspects of Chinese Buddhism to different degress.In this period,Tibetan Buddhism influenced Chinese Buddhism a lot.It was paid great attention by Chinese central royal court and also in the good grace of many people in Chinese group.
