Clinical Effect Evaluation of Stent Implantation on Esophageal Cancer Patients with Esophageal Stenosis

Abstract
Objective To evaluate the clinical effect of esophageal stenting in the treatment of advanced esophageal cancer.Methods We chose 80 cases of esophageal cancer esophageal stricture from May 2005 to May 2013 which were admitted to our department and as research subjects,and were did esophageal stent implantation,statistics of swallowing and complications in all patients before and after operation.Results 80 patients with postoperative dysphagia was better than preoperative,the difference was statistically significant(P 0.05);80 patients with stent placement success rate was 97.5%,the incidence of complications was 2.5%.Conclusion Esophageal stent which was for the treatment of esophageal cancer esophageal stricture had good results,and no significant adverse complications.
